About Us
Jewell Animal Hospital's goals are based on the belief that preventative care is our biggest defense against illness. Our vaccine protocols are adjusted to meet the needs of you and your pet's lifestyle. For example, feline leukemia vaccine is a breakthrough vaccine that prevents a life threatening disease in cats. However, since feline leukemia is transmitted cat to cat, it is not neccessary for an indoor cat that never goes outside. It is, however, quite neccessary, and potentially life saving for any cat that goes outdoors, and comes into contact with other cats to be vaccinated for leukemia. This is an example of how we consider your needs before administering any medical protocol.
Our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
We take pride in our rescue work, our assistance with animal population control issues, and our own South Hamilton Animal Alliance. Through it we take care of our own local community by rehoming strays, performing trap-neuter-release on feral cats, and taking in owner surrenders when space permits.
We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you and your pet the best service in the industry.
